Go to the bottom right of your screen and click on the up arrow. If the little blue cloud has a green circle with a white tick in it everything is fine.
I remote in and set it all up for you. I wait 2 weeks before i request a payment.

The server has it's own recycle bin which you cannot see. Go to the home page and at the bottom click on "Recover my data". Fill out the form and we will contact you as soon as possible.
No. As long as you have an internet connection it copies your files and file changes immediately.

By participating in this service you agree and accept these terms and conditions.By agreeing to use the services of ProTecBackup you agree not to abuse or exploit the services provided.
1 Copyrighted and illegal data
1.1 No copyrighted or illegal data shall be backed up onto the ProTecBackup servers. 1.2 Any infringement and you will be notified by email to remove this data from the folders that are being backed up.
1.3 If the data is not removed within 24 hours the connection to our servers and the contract will be terminated without a refund.
1.4 If you think you are the copyright holder please notify ProTecBackup within the 24 hour timeframe of notification.
2 Private details
2.1 All private data given is for the sole use to setup and maintain this contract. No details will be given or sold to any third parties. We will only request an up to date email address and telephone numbers. The security questions and answers will also only be stored with ProTecBackup and not given or sold to third parties. We will not store any banking or credit/debit card details for your own security.
3 Your personal files
3.1 Your files will remain your property and you are responsible for it entirely, making sure you are the rightful owner. Your data will be randomly scanned for any infringements of copyrighted and illegal data (see point 1).
3.2 No other persons will be given access to your files unless you give written consent to ProTecBackup and we setup a connection for them to our servers. We will call you as the owners and confirm with your security questions before setting up this access. This access can be revoked anytime in written form.
4 Services provided
4.1 ProTecBackup will provide the service for you to Sync/Backup data that is put into certain folders on your PC and Mobile devices. On your Mobile device that will normally be the DCIM folder (where pictures from most apps including camera photos are stored). On Windows devices this will be the documents/pictures/videos folders. Each of these folders will have sub folders called Backup (this folder is backed up/synced to the server) and no backup (only saved locally and NOT backed up/synced to the ProTecBackup server). The pictures folder may also include a folder called DCIM which will be a copy of your mobile. This folder is optional depending on service required.
5 Payment and termination of services
5.1 The services are setup before payment is due. Once the services have been setup and you are syncing to the ProTecBackup servers, we will send you an email with account details so you can pay, without revealing your bank details. All we request is you give a specific reference number on the transaction so we can identify who it has come from. Payment is due at the latest 2 weeks after setup. If a payment is not made we will email you informing you that the service has been terminated and delete the connection to our servers.
5.2 All charges include tax.
5.3 Monthly subscriptions are due exactly 1 month after the first payment. So if your first payment is on the 6th of March your next payment is due on the 6th April. You are responsible for either setting up a standing order or making the monthly payments on time.
5.4 Both yearly and 2 yearly subscriptions will get an email a month before the subscription runs out informing you that a payment is due.
5.5 All subscriptions can be cancelled by just not paying or via email. This means you can cancel your subscription at any time but will not be refunded the rest of the contract. (i.e. you cancel after 6 months you will not be refunded 6 months on a 1 year subscription or 1,5 year on a 2 year subscription).
5.6 If payment is not received after 1 month of the due date then the link to our servers will be severed. Your data will no longer be backed up and your data marked for deletion. You can subscribe again after this time starting again from the sign up date.
6 Prices
6.1 All prices valid at point of sale and will be valid until the end of term.
6.2 Prices may change in the term of contract time. We will inform you of these changes. These changes will not take effect in the current running subscription (1 and 2 year subscriptions). They will take effect after 2 months on the monthly subscriptions (i.e we inform you on the 1st June and your subscription due date is the 15th each month the new prices will only be valid from the 15th August).
7 Limitation of Liability
7.1 ProTecBackup shall not be liable for the content of your files and data.
7.2 ProTecBackup is not liable for failures or performance issues beyond reasonable control (accidents, war or terrorist activity, acts of God or malicious damage).
8 Service and software
8.1 ProTecBackup will do our utmost to minimize any service disruptions and normalize service as quickly as possible.
8.2 Depending on your internet connection, equipment and settings you may experience delays or performance issues. We will endeavor to help out as much as we can where ever possible.
8.3 Please check your devices are updating properly as we cannot see/control the software from here or see when it is not working. Third party software and antivirus software can disable/stop uploads. We will show you during setup what to look out for and how you can see your data being backed up.
9 Does and Don’ts
9.1 Do not change the folder icon symbol in your folders. This will cause issues on the servers.
